The Ramones eponymous debut album has been certified gold – 38 years after it’s original release.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) states that the album was certified gold on the 30th April 2014. The RIAA requires a release to have sold 500,000 copies to be certified gold.
The album was originally released on the 23rd of April, 1976.
