Danish metal band Forever Still have announced that they will release their debut album as not one but three new EPs.
“We knew from the beginning that our debut album had to be something special, so we decided to write a concept album,” says frontwoman Maja. “The overarching plot follows a suppressed individual struggling through depression, anxiety, worthlessness, and getting stronger in the process.”
The first EP, Part 1: Scars, will be released digitally on the 13th of November and is set to feature the title track for which the band recently released a video.
“The Scars EP will be the 1st of 3 digital EPs, which will end up as one big digital AND physical album in the early spring of 2015!” continues Maja. “The EP will cost whatever you want it to cost. Yes, that’s right! We believe that music should be available to everyone – both those who are broke, and those who have a little extra to spare in support of the artists they love.”
