AC/DC have released a ridiculously literal video for their new track, “Play Ball.”

The song is lifted from the band’s 17th studio album, Rock Or Bust, due for release on the 2nd of December, and the video was directed by David Mallet.

“The spirit of ‘Play Ball’ is a mess-up of all sorts of outrageous videos of people playing ball,” says Mallet, “plus a rather good performance from the band.”

The clip features appearances from Stevie Young, who has replaced Malcolm Young on guitar, and drummer Bob Richards, who fills in for Phil Rudd. It is not known whether Richards’ appointment is a permanent one.
