Swedish experimental stoner-pop band Josefin Öhrn + The Liberation have released a new video for their track “Anything So Bright”.
The dreamy clip saw Josefin collaborating with director David Nord, delving in to the band´s love of hypnotic beauty, psychedelic experience and Trompe L’oeil imagery.
Despite having released just two singles and one EP in their native land (Diamond Waves 12 “ EP, Sunny Afternoon and Tell It To The Wind 7”), Josefin and musical collaborator Fredrik Joelson have made quite a splash, having recently been nominated for a Swedish Grammy for Best New Artist and toured with experimental peers Goat and Les Big Byrd.
Listening to the hazy, mesmeric delight that is “Anything So Bright”, it’s not hard to understand why the duo’s star is in the ascendant. But don’t just take our word for it, check out the video below and be sure to let us know what you think.
Josefin Öhrn + The Liberation are set to drop a new EP in June via Gone Beyond Records.
