Fast rising Michigan metal band King 810 have cancelled their upcoming European tour and appearance at this year’s Download festival.
Writing via their Facebook page the band say: “We were trying to make this work, but some unforeseen shit at home will keep us in the States at this time. We apologise to everyone who will miss us.
“But we plan on making the best of the situation – going home and working on more music, more videos and more content for y’all. Again, we apologise, and we will make it back over there as soon as possible.”
It will be the second time that King 810 will miss a planned set at Download. The band didn’t manage to make it to the UK for their show their last year following the arrest of frontman David Gunn and bassist Eugene Gill whilst they were travelling to the UK.
Gunn told fans earlier this week “We’re finishing up the final touches on our latest project. I promise to get y’all a preview within a week. Stay tuned.”
King 810’s cancelled shows are as follows:
Jun 05th: Rock Im Park, Germany
Jun 06th: Forta Rock, Netherlands
Jun 07th: Rock Am Ring, Germany
Jun 12th: Nova Rock, Austria
Jun 14th: Download, UK
Jun 16th: Rock In Roma, Italy
Jun 19th: Graspop Metal Meeting, France
