Extreme, Twisted Sister, Skid Row and Great White are set to share a bill in Las Vegas next weekend, and the whole thing will be filmed for a future cinema release.
Metal Meltdown is being held at Las Vegas’ Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on the 30th of May.
Extreme will be playing the whole of their Pornograffitti album at the event as part of their 25th anniversary celebrations marking its release. Skid Row’s set will feature new frontman Tony Harnell who replaced former vocalist Johnny Solinger last month, and Mike Portnoy will occupy the drum stool for Twisted Sister after sticksman AJ Pero died earlier this year.
The resulting concert film is scheduled for a 3D cinema release as well as CD, Vinyl, DVD and BluRay formats. A release date has yet to be confirmed.
