Teenage Time Killers have shared a third track from their forthcoming debut album.
“Ode to Sean Hannity” features vocals by Dead Kennedys and Guantanamo School Of Medicine man Jello Biafra and is lifted from the LP Greatest Hits Vol.1, scheduled for release on the 31st of July via Rise Records.
Premiering the track via Noisey, TTK and Corrosion Of Conformity mainman Reed Mullin explains: “I saw John Cleese from Monty Python on an episode of Keith Olbermann’s old MSNBC show a couple years back, where he happened to read his poem “Ode to Sean Hannity” aloud. It was fucking hilarious. The rhythm, or cadence rather, and biting political comedy sounded just like a song Jello & the Dead Kennedys would have written back in the old days. So, when we were getting our original 5 songs together for what later turnd into Teenage Time Killers, I put Cleese’s poem to music, asked Jello to sing it, he said “Yes” and the rest is history.”
Forming around core members Reed Mullin, Mick Murphy and John “Lou” Lousteau, Teenage Time Killers’ debut album features a host of performances from a veritable who’s-who of punk, rock and metal musicians, including Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba, Fear’s Lee Ving and My Ruin’s Tairrie B. Murphy.
The album is available for pre-order now. Check out “Ode to Sean Hannity” below and be sure to let us know what you think!
