Iron Maiden’s Steve Harris heads out on tour with British Lion

Steve Harris - British Lion

Iron Maiden lynchpin Steve Harris is to hit the road with his ‘other’ band, British Lion.

They’ll be heading out on tour for 22 dates at the end of July with The Raven Age in support.

Harris released the self-titled British Lion album in 2012 with vocalist Richard Taylor, guitarists David Hawkins and Grahame Leslie plus drummer Simon Dawson, and last toured in 2014.

Iron Maiden had to put their plans for their 16th studio album on hold earlier this year when frontman Bruce Dickinson was diagnosed with cancer. The singer has since been given the all clear, with band manager Rod Smallwood confirming that the album will still be released, but that tour plans will have to wait.
