Revenge Of The Psychotronic Man unveil video for new track ‘I Wanna Be A Spaceman’

UK punks Revenge Of The Psychotronic Man have premiered a brand new video for their track “I Wanna Be A Spaceman.”

The song is lifted from the band’s new album, Colossal Velocity, released last week via TNS Records.

Originally sharing the video via The Punk Archive, the band reference NASA astronaut and Apollo 14 crew member Edgar Dean “Ed” Mitchell, who was once quoted as saying: “[From space] you develop an instant global consciousness, a people orientation, an intense dissatisfaction with the state of the world, and a compulsion to do something about it. From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch.’”

The footage for the video was shot live at this year’s Manchester Punk Festival by Mark Richards and Julian Wallinger. Check it out below.
