Ramsey has released her new single, “The Garden.”
An elegiac and unsettling slice of darkly emotive alt-pop, the song sees the LA-based singer, songwriter and producer foreground her extraordinary voice in an intense delivery that underpins a lyric exploring a profound and all-consuming desire for another.
“My vision gets blurry. These feelings I’ve had from the start are harder to hold back when it gets dark. Oh no, it’s you that I want,” Ramsey emotes over beguiling ambient washes and trip-hop beats. It’s a remarkable performance.

The release of “The Garden” comes in the wake of Ramsey’s critically lauded songs such as “2am” and “If You Let Me” racking up over 2 million plays between them, and amid indications that the artist’s debut full length album will arrive this autumn.
Ramsey recently told the Netherlands based DJMag.nl: “I actually did not know what I could really expect before I started this, but I’m very happy with how people reacted and respected my music. I was always in different bands and choirs during my high school years. Singing was my passion, I wanted nothing else.”
