LA-based alt-pop artist Ramsey has shared a video for her song “See You Bleed.”
Directed and edited by Jen Borcea, the clip sees the singer, songwriter, composer and producer deliver a fierce performance, meeting out violence against an initially unsuspecting paramour.
The visual accompanies the kind of dark and brooding melancholic slice of ruminative pop that we’ve come to expect from Ramsey in recent months as she prepares her full length album. It’s also arguably a companion piece to “The Garden”, the artist’s elegiac recent single released last month.
You can check out the video for “See You Bleed” below.
“See You Bleed” joins Ramsey’s critically lauded songs such as “2am” and “If You Let Me” that have racked up over 2 million plays between them, and amid indications that the artist’s debut full length album will arrive this autumn.
Ramsey recently told the Netherlands based DJMag.nl: “I actually did not know what I could really expect before I started this, but I’m very happy with how people reacted and respected my music. I was always in different bands and choirs during my high school years. Singing was my passion, I wanted nothing else.”
