Ace Frehly_Ken Kelly_Space Invader Cover_2014Kiss alumnus Ace Frehley has revealed exclusively through Rolling Stone that long time friend and artist Ken Kelly has created the cover for his new solo record, Space Invader.

The album is due for release on the 8th of July and marks the first time that Kelly has worked with any members of Kiss for nearly 35 years.

Kelly created the now legendary covers for Kiss’ classic albums Destroyer and Love Gun. He says of the new collaboration: “It was very exciting when I was approached with the idea of doing an album cover for Ace.”

“I had spoken to Ace on a few occasions about the possibility,” he continues, “so I was delighted when it actually happened.”

Ace Frehley commented: “I’ve been talking with Ken Kelly since 2007 about painting a CD cover for me and it has finally happened! I couldn’t be more excited about the Space Invader cover and the music behind it is also going to rock your world!”

Kelly sums up: “I am very pleased with the results and proud to play a part of Ace’s continuing successful career!”
