Thunder release video for Resurrection Day ahead of new EP

Thunder have released a video for their track “Resurrection Day”.

The song features on a new EP that the band will release next month. Resurrection Day is due out on the 20th of April via earMUSIC, with its title track lifted from Thunder’s new album, Wonder Days.

The new EP will also feature a live track, a live video and an acoustic song. Two different versions of “Resurrection Day” are also included.

Another song from Wonder Days, “When The Music Played”, will be released on limited edition 10″ vinyl for Record Store Day on the 18th of April.

Amplifier announce headline UK tour dates

Amplifier have announced an eight date UK headline tour for March and April.

The band released their latest album, Mystoria, last year and are now heading out on the road with support coming from Black Moth.

Said the band in a statement revealing the news: “Finally some UK shows – you’ll be getting the whole of the Mystoria album, plus some less played classics new and old. Good dirty fun. See you at the front.”

As well as the headline dates, Amplifier will also play a set at London’s Jazz Cafe as part of this year’s Desert Fest event.

Echosmith announce UK tour for April 2015

LA alt-rockers Echosmith have announced their first proper headline tour of the UK.

Frontwoman Sydney Sierota and her siblings will head out across the UK in April 2015 following their first UK show at Camden’s Barfly earlier this year.

Confirmed dates are:

April 22nd: Birmingham – Academy III
April 23rd: London – Dingwalls
April 25th: Manchester – Deaf Institute
April 26th: Glasgow – King Tut’s

The band will release their debut album, Talking Dreams, in the UK on the 29th of December. The full tracklist is as follows:

Nick Cave announces solo European tour for 2015

Nick Cave has announced a solo European tour to take place in Spring 2015.

Cave will perform 5 UK shows at the beginning of the live dates, before moving on to play sets in Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, France, Spain and Russia.

Although billed as a solo tour, Cave will be joined on stage by several current or former members of his longtime band, The Bad Seeds, including Warren Ellis, Martyn Casey, Thomas Wydler and Barry Adamson.

Speaking of the announcement, Cave said: “The aim is to try to create a unique show – something special and out of the ordinary”

Tickets will go on sale this coming Friday, 3rd of October.

Nick Cave will play the following dates in the UK:

April 26th: Glasgow Royal Concert Hall
April 28th: Edinburgh Playhouse
April 29th: Gateshead Sage
April 30th: Nottingham Royal Concert Hall
May 3rd: London Royal Albert Hall
