Black Veil Brides share live clip of ‘Faithless’ from forthcoming DVD ‘Alive And Burning’

Black Veil Brides have released a live performance clip of their track “Faithless” recorded at LA’s Wiltern Theater last November.

The video is part of Black Veil Brides’ new live DVD Alive And Burning which captures the whole of the band’s sold-out hometown show from their 2014 Black Mass Tour.

The DVD was directed by Casey Tebo, known for his work on Aerosmith documentary Rock For The Rising Sun. The cover artwork for the set was designed by the band’s longtime friend and previous album cover illustrator Richard Villa.

In a recent interview with the Full Metal Jackie radio show, BVB frontman Andy Biersack explained why the band had waited until now to release their first ever live concert film: “I think, for us, being the band that always had the aspirations and dreams to be the kind of band that could put on a big theatrical stage show, it’s taken a long time in our career. And, naturally, it takes a while for any band to get to the point where they can have that big stage show.”

He continued: “When you’re a young kid and go to a concert and see a big pyrotechnics or video screens, the reality behind how long that may take to get to that point both where it’s financially viable but also makes sense for you on a scalable ability to be able to tour with it, you don’t really think about that. We now are at a point, thankfully, that we can do a much more impressive and visual show and we felt that it was time to capture that with the DVD.”

Black Veil Brides to release live DVD in 2015

Black_Veil_Brides4

Hot on the heels of their fourth studio album, Black Veil Brides have announced that they are to release a live DVD.

The band recorded their performance at the Wiltern Theatre in their hometown of Los Angeles on the 1st of November and will release the film in June of 2015. The filming was directed by Casey Tebo.

Speaking to Revolver, frontman Andy Biersack explained why the record is their most aggressive to date: “It’s very angry. I feel like in a lot of ways I had a lot of aggression towards the state of how we were perceived. We made Wretched And Divine so large in scale and it had a grand story. There was a certain amount of frustration when you do this thing so large and great but there were so many people who just refused to listen to the songs, like, ‘They’re a faggy makeup band.’”

“I enjoyed looking back on those feelings because I don’t really care anymore. But I wanted to re-tap into those aggressive feelings – there is a lot more angst on this record.”

Black Veil Brides also recently unveiled the official video for new single “Goodbye Agony”. You can watch the clip below:
