Brody Dalle has released a video for new song, “Don’t Mess With Me.”
The track is taken from Dalle’s solo album, Diploid Love, that was released earlier this year.
Diploid Love is Dalle’s first album under her own name, following her 2009 album as Spinnerette and three albums as the frontwoman of punk band The Distillers.
You can watch the video below:
Diploid Love was produced by Dalle and Alain Johannes (Arctic Monkeys, Them Crooked Vultures, Mark Lanegan) at his Los Angeles studio, as well as at Dalle and her husband Josh Homme’s Pink Duck studio. The record features guest appearances from Garbage’s Shirley Manson, The Strokes’ Nick Valensi, Michael Shuman of Queens of the Stone Age and Emily Kokal of Warpaint among others.
