Steven Wilson has released a teaser trailer for new album Hand. Cannot. Erase.

The clip is accompanied by haunting blog entries ‘written by’ the album’s lead character, a reclusive artist.

One cryptic blog entry reads: “Recently I’ve been haunting myself. A few days ago I woke up some time in the middle of the night, but didn’t open my eyes for a long time, just lay there listening to the rain on the window. When I did open my eyes I was standing at the end of the bed just watching.

“Then I leaned over and handed myself an envelope with the words ‘A List of Betrayals’ written on the front. I haven’t had the courage to open it yet.”

Hand. Cannot. Erase is scheduled for release on the 2nd of March via Kscope and is available now for pre-order.

Dead Weather Promo Shot

The Dead Weather have teased their new single “Buzzkill(er)” by releasing a clip from the track.

The song is to be released as a 7″ gold vinyl single, backed with song “It’s Just Too Bad”, as part of Third Man Records’ Vault subscription series. You can listen to the clip by clicking the SoundCloud stream below.

The band, who include among their members Alison Mosshart and Jack White, are mooted to be releasing a new album in 2015. Their last LP was 2010’s Sea Of Cowards. Two new songs, “Rough Detective” and “Open Up (That’s Enough)”, were released earlier this year.

A press release for the new songs states that they are: “further examples that this band, in their downtime from Queens of the Stone Age, the Kills and JW solo, are more deadly than 99% of the rest of the also-rans out there.”
