CSNY release trailer for “CSNY 1974” box set

CSNY have released a trailer for their forth coming box set, CSNY 1974.

We previously detailed some of the box set’s contents here, along with David Crosby’s thoughts about his favourite selections. You can watch the new trailer below:

The trailer features a montage of clips from the box set, and is narrated by Graham Nash who compiled the set’s material.

Nash explains, “This box set mirrors the electric, acoustic, electric format that we followed each night on stage, featuring some of our best performances from the tour.”

CSNY 1974 is scheduled for release on the 7th of July in the UK and Europe, and the 8th of July in the US.

David Crosby talks CSNY 1974 box set

CSNY 1974 Box Set

Music legend David Crosby has been discussing the forthcoming Crosby Stills Nashy & Young CSNY 1974 box set.

In an interview with Radio.com, Crosby said that one of his favourites of the new set is a rare recording of a song by Neil Young that has never been commercially released.

“Pushed It Over The End” was described by Crosby as “one of of the most intense pieces of music I’ve ever heard in my life. It might be the single greatest Neil Young live [performance] ever. I never heard anybody be that intense on a record. Ever. Anybody. Anybody. Ever.”

Graham Nash has previously discussed the problems he experienced working on the box set, citing “other people’s agendas and trying to please four people at the same time”.

CSNY 1974 is currently scheduled for release on the 8th of July this year.
