Foo Fighters release new trailer for Sonic Highways

Foo Fighters Sonic Highways Clip 640x360

Foo Fighters have issued a new trailer for their forthcoming TV show, Sonic Highways.

The documentary series follows the band as they make their new album of the same name across various locations and recording studios throughout the USA.

The show is set to debut in America on the 17th of October, and in the UK on the 26th of October via BBC Four.

As frontman Dave Grohl explains in the new clip: “The process is we come to a city and spend a week and record an instrumental because I interview all of these different musicians. I talk about the regional relevance of the music from that city, the cultural influence that made for the sound of the music.

“There’s no way that you can tell the history of a city’s music in one hour, so we have to do it in a way that relates to the band and goes from point A to point B and becomes a song.”

Sonic Highways the album is slated for release on the 10th of November, with a first single, “Something From Nothing”, due out later this week on the 16th of October.
