Gallows have released details of their forthcoming new album Desolation Sounds.

Their fourth studio LP will be released on the 13th of April via Venn/Play It Again Sam Records. Pre-order packages are available now via Gallows’ official website.

Says founding member Laurent ‘Lags’ Barnard of the new album: “I think the album sounds really fearless. It’s the sound of a band that’s comfortable with playing music together, rather than trying to fit into a certain scene or zeitgeist or any preconceived notion of what the band should be. We just ignored the outside music world and made an album that felt good in our guts.”

To coincide with the announcement, Gallows have also shared their new single, “Bonfire Season”. You can watch the video for the new track below:

As if that wasn’t enough, Gallows will also play a short headline tour with Baby Godzilla in May, with confirmed dates as follows:

22nd May: Glasgow, Cathouse
26th May: London, Garage
27th May: Manchester, Sound Control
