Kasabian are streaming their new single, ‘Eez-eh’, in full. You can click to listen to it below.

The track is set to feature on the band’s fifth album, 48:13, scheduled for release on the 9th of June.

Kasabian debuted the track on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show yesterday evening, 28th April. Says frontman, Tom Meighan: “This is a special year… the time is right, things keep on falling into place.”

“Less is more, you know? It’s direct. It is what it is,” he continues. “Just listen to it. We’ve had the confidence to lay ourselves bare. Serge has stripped it right back. It’s unbelievable.”

Serge Pizzorno, guitarist, writer and producer of the album added in a statement: “”I felt that we had the confidence to be more direct, more honest with this album. I started to strip away layers rather than to just keep adding.”

Kasabian will be headlining this year’s Glastonbury festival, alongside Arcade Fire and an as yet unnamed third headliner. They have also just announced that they will be playing at this year’s Radio 1’s One Big Weekend festival taking place at Glasgow Green.
