WATCH! KISS share video of Momoiro Clover Z track

Kiss J-Pop Grab

Legendary US rockers KISS have released the video for track “Yume No Ukiyo Ni Saitemina”, their collaboration with Japanese pop group Momoiro Clover Z.

The song was written by Paul Stanley with Greg Collins, co-producer of KISS’s 2012 album Monster, while the lyrics were penned by Yuho Iwasato. The band have also filmed an 80-minute documentary about the collaboration.

The single will be released in two versions – a KISS Edition and a Momoiro Edition – on the 28th of January, the same day as the release of the Japanese version of the KISS compilation album Best Of KISS 40.

Momoiro Clover Z are set to support Kiss at their show at the Tokyo Dome on the 3rd of March.

Kiss, Motley Crue and Slash confirmed for Download 2015

Download 2015 Headline Crop

So the rumours are true! Legendary US rockers Kiss are the final headline act confirmed to close out 2015’s Download Festival.

Playing on Sunday the 14th of June, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley’s crew will immediately follow the equally notorious Motley Crue who are set to end live touring for good at the end of next year. Also confirmed for the bill are guitar legend Slash, and UK stalwarts Enter Shikari.

Says Paul Stanley of the news: “Download has become a tradition of stature that separates the pretenders from the contenders and the champs from the chimps. It will be an honour to take our turf and leave no doubt why we wear the crown.”

Simmons added: “To all our fans – our intention is to get on that stage, blow the heavens to smithereens and take no prisoners.”

Said Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx: “Download is a very special event for me. It’s been a major destination since I started and I’m always excited to be a part of it.”

Rou Reynolds of Enter Shikari says: “The thing I love more than anything is playing outside at night. We thank Download for the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the great outdoors and engulf and deluge festival-goers with our noise. It is an honour to be closing the night – and because of this we will bring illuminations with us. Do attend.”

Tickets for Download 2015 go on sale tomorrow, Thursday 20th of November, via www.downloadfestival.co.uk
