Panic Room launch PledgeMusic campaign for live DVD

Panic Room 2014

Panic Room have launched a PledgeMusic campaign to help fund their live DVD.

The band are planning to record their London show at Islington Assembly Hall on the 18th of June, and in order to fully document the event and release the subsequent DVD are looking to raise £25,000.

Say Panic Room of the campaign: “We’ve released five albums now and been touring for eight years. But there’s still one thing we haven’t done – filmed a live DVD. So that’s exactly what we’re going to do this summer.

“We’re a bunch of perfectionists, and we never want to give you anything but our best. But now in 2016, everything has fallen into place perfectly and the band are on fire right now.

“We’ve booked the Islington Assembly Hall in London – a Grade II Listed building with gorgeous Art Deco features, which we know will make an incredible backdrop for the Panic Room live DVD.

“It’s the perfect summer night gig – and we need all of you guys there to fill the hall and make it the most epic gig ever.”

Panic Room are offering those who pledge a range of incentives including signed DVDs, deluxe editions of the film, t-shirts, disposable “Panic-Cams”, photo books and exclusive behind-the-scenes updates. You can find out more and make your pledge via Panic Room’s official PledgeMusic campaign page.

Black Veil Brides to release live DVD in 2015

Black_Veil_Brides4

Hot on the heels of their fourth studio album, Black Veil Brides have announced that they are to release a live DVD.

The band recorded their performance at the Wiltern Theatre in their hometown of Los Angeles on the 1st of November and will release the film in June of 2015. The filming was directed by Casey Tebo.

Speaking to Revolver, frontman Andy Biersack explained why the record is their most aggressive to date: “It’s very angry. I feel like in a lot of ways I had a lot of aggression towards the state of how we were perceived. We made Wretched And Divine so large in scale and it had a grand story. There was a certain amount of frustration when you do this thing so large and great but there were so many people who just refused to listen to the songs, like, ‘They’re a faggy makeup band.’”

“I enjoyed looking back on those feelings because I don’t really care anymore. But I wanted to re-tap into those aggressive feelings – there is a lot more angst on this record.”

Black Veil Brides also recently unveiled the official video for new single “Goodbye Agony”. You can watch the clip below:

TesseracT to release live album and DVD

TesseracT Kscope Announcement Band Crop 640x360

TesseracT are to release their first ever live album.

The group made the announcement in celebration of the return of their vocalist Dan Tompkins to the band’s fold.

Says bassist Amos Williams: “We’ve gone full circle with the return of Dan. There’s an enthusiasm and energy amongst the band that we wished to capture for CD and DVD. It’s very challenging both artistically and technically – but if any band can pull it off at this level, TesseracT can.”

The bulk of the DVD is intended to be shot at TesseracT’s live show in London next month, as Williams explains: “It’s been sold out for months now, so we know it’ll be intense. It will feature a light show run by our good friend Conor Vennard, with whom we have been working with for two years now. The show will be filmed by Sitcom Soldiers, who produced our last promotional video for Nocturne.”

The band recently announced that they had signed with Kscope for their next record, and will be playing a series of live dates in the UK during November. Confirmed shows are as follows:

Nov 03rd: Southampton Talking Heads
Nov 04th: Birmingham O2 Academy
Nov 05th: Manchester Sound Control
