Morrissey announces new solo album

Morrissey

Morrissey has announced the details of his next solo album.

The news comes via his semi-official fan site, True To You. In a post there, he reveals that the album will be called World Peace is None of Your Business, and is slated for release this summer via Harvest Records.

Morrissey himself is said to be “beyond ecstatic” about the album, which was produced by Joe Chiccarelli in France.

At the end of 2013, Morrissey’s guitarist Jesse Tobias told Uncut magazine that the singer had two albums worth of songs ready to record.

Morrissey’s last studio album was Years Of Refusal in 2009.
