Nordic Giants return to the stage for November UK tour

Nordic Giants are to embark upon a UK tour in November.

The 7 dates on the 7 Depths Of Consciousness tour are set to feature an all new stage performance, accompanied by new film presentations and a set of 7 remixed tracks.

The duo have released a trailer to accompany the news and say in a statement: “What makes man different from others is that he is aware of himself – he is able to reflect upon himself and analyse how his environment influences him.

“Millions of years of evolution has passed and the exploration of consciousness seems to have been forgotten. Are you ready to expand your consciousness?”

Megadeth and Lamb Of God to stage co-headline tour of UK and Ireland

Drummer Chris Adler is set to be a very busy man as Megadeth and Lamb Of God have announced a co-headline tour of the UK and Ireland.

The bands will play five dates during November, with Lamb Of God sticksman Adler pulling double duty after being recruited by Dave Mustaine for Megadeth following the departure of Sean Drover.

Says Mustaine of the tour announcement: “Having just finished an amazing record full of high-energy heavy metal with Chris Adler, Kiko Loureiro and David Ellefson, I am excited to announce this tour and see all of the metal fans come out for this one. I literally can’t wait to hit the stage again.”

Megadeth’s new album is expected to be released later this year, whilst Lamb Of God’s new LP, VII: Sturm Und Drang, is released on the 24th of July.

Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday the 17th of July at 9am. Dates are as follows:

Joe Satriani confirms 2015 UK tour


Joe Satriani has announced a 9 date UK tour for November.

The Shockwave Tour will hit these shores from the 1st of November, with Satriani accompanied by bassist Bryan Beller, keyboard and guitar player Mike Keneally and drummer Marco Minnemann.

Satriani said: “I am looking forward to playing the UK in November and seeing my fans.”

The tour will be Satriani’s first run of live dates in the UK since 2013. A new album is expected later this year.

Tickets go on general sale at 9am this Friday the 6th of February via Ticketline.

Gerard Way announces UK tour for November


Gerard Way has announced a five date UK tour in November.

The former My Chemical Romance frontman releases his debut solo album, Hesitant Alien, on the 29th of September.

The singer-songwriter made his official debut at Reading Festival on the 22nd of August, where he opened the NME/BBC Radio 1 Stage. During the set Way played eight tracks from his new album plus a cover of The Jesus & Mary Chain’s “Snakedriver.”

Lacuna Coil and Motionless In White for co-headline UK tour


Italian metal band Lacuna Coil and US metalcore crew Motionless In White are teaming up for a co-headlining tour of the UK.

Devilment, the new band featuring Dani Filth of Cradle Of Filth fame, will support on all dates.

Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, with confirmed dates as follows:

2nd Nov: 02 ABC, Glasgow
4th Nov: The Ritz, Manchester
5th Nov: The Institute, Birmingham

The bands are inviting all gig goers who purchase tickets for the show in Bristol on the 31st of October to come in their best and most ghoulish Halloween costumes.

Lacuna Coil’s latest album, Broken Crown Halo, was released earlier this year. Motionless In White’s new LP, Reincarnate, is scheduled for release on the 15th of September.
