Periphery have shared an animated video for their new track “Marigold.”

The song is lifted from the band’s fourth studio LP, Periphery III: Select Difficulty, scheduled for release on the 22nd of July.

Says Periphery guitarist Mark Holcomb: “’Marigold’ was written pretty early in the sessions. It had been a song that anchored the songwriting direction for P3. The technicality, sense of melody, orchestration and big choruses lend itself to what I feel most of this record is about.”

Periphery unleash The Bad Thing

Periphery The Bad Thing vid cap

Periphery have released a video for their track “The Bad Thing.”

The song is lifted from the band’s Juggernaut: Omega album, part of a twin release earlier this year alongside companion LP Juggernaut: Alpha.

Speaking to Billboard about the song, Periphery drummer Matt Halpern said: “We thought a live performance was a great way to show in the intensity of the song, and show how it makes us feel onstage.”

“We hope to release more visual assets in the future that tell the Juggernaut story as a whole, rather than one song at a time.”

Periphery continue to refuse to explain the story behind the Juggernaut albums, but Halpern says of “The Bad Thing”: “It explains a pretty angry and aggressive part. The main character has come to some pretty deep realisations about his life, and he’s choosing to take a more active approach into solving his problems.”

WATCH! Periphery release video for new track “Alpha”

Periphery Band Shot

Periphery have released a promo clip of their new track “Alpha.”

The song comes from the band’s dual albums Juggernaut: Alpha and Juggernaut: Omega, released earlier this week via Century Media.

Drummer Matt Halpern said of the split LP concept: “Because Juggernaut is very detailed and dense in terms of character development, peaks and valleys, climaxes and resolutions, we’ve divided the story and music in two.

“Although the albums are split in two physically, the story is only complete when the albums are digested consecutively. This allows the listener to recognise and hear the lyrical and musical overlapping themes, foreshadowing, and connected ideas.”

You can watch the video for “Alpha” below:

Periphery will play 3 UK support slots with Devin Townsend in March, with a single headline slot of their own in April:

Mar 29th: Bristol O2 Academy (with Devin Townsend)
Mar 30th: Glasgow O2 ABC (with Devin Townsend)
Mar 31st: Manchester Academy (with Devin Townsend)
Apr 01st: London, O2 Academy Islington (headline show)
