Kvelertak have shared details of their new album.

Nattesferd is the band’s third studio LP and will be released on the 13th of May via Roadrunner Records. The new collection marks the first time that Kvelertak have recorded in their Norwegian homeland.

Says Kvelertak frontman Erlend Hjelvik: “We are finally getting ready to release our third album Nattesferd on the world and however cliche it may sound, I’m not afraid to say that this is our best one yet.

“It’s an exquisite smorgasbord of riffs infused with everything between the best of classic rock and heavy metal. I’m certain it will blow the minds of both old and new fans.”

You can see the cover art for Nattesferd below and hear brand new album track “1985” now:

Kvelertak embark upon a North American tour in April and are due to return to UK shores this summer for appearances at the Reading and Leeds festivals on the 26th-28th of August.
