Stone Sour and Avenged Sevenfold will be touring the UK together in the autumn, reports Kerrang!
Speaking exclusively to the UK rock weekly, Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor said that the co-headline tour is being planned as a specific reaction to the current trend in “watered down” bills.
“Tours in the past used to be huge events with different types of music,” explains Taylor. “Lately, tours have become watered down with same sounding bands and same sounding songs. What we’ll be offering is a great live and musical experience that will appeal to all different types of music lovers.”
Corey says that the bands are still looking for suitable opening acts for the tour, set to kick off in October.
