Chasing Dragons announce new EP and share behind-the-scenes studio teaser

Chasing Dragons promo 2016

Leeds natives Chasing Dragons have announced that they are to release a new EP.

Faction:Prologue is scheduled for release on the 29th of March and is described thus by the Yorkshire outfit: “…a whirlwind of riffwork and a rhythm section you could set your watch to. Underpinning it all are the vocals of singer Tank, who leads from the front with true punk attitude and a will to succeed.”

Sounds good to us!

As the name might suggest, the EP is intended as a precursor to a longer album in the future, and to whet your appetite the ‘Dragons have released a behind-the-scenes studio teaser that you can check out below:

Having shared the stage with bands ranging from Skindred and Fearless Vampire Killers to Death Angel and Betraying The Martyrs, Faction:Prologue is the start of what will be a huge year in the lives of Chasing Dragons, and you can pre-order the new EP here.

Steven Wilson releases teaser for “Hand.Cannot.Erase”

Steven Wilson HCE Teaser Crop

Steven Wilson has released a teaser trailer for new album Hand. Cannot. Erase.

The clip is accompanied by haunting blog entries ‘written by’ the album’s lead character, a reclusive artist.

One cryptic blog entry reads: “Recently I’ve been haunting myself. A few days ago I woke up some time in the middle of the night, but didn’t open my eyes for a long time, just lay there listening to the rain on the window. When I did open my eyes I was standing at the end of the bed just watching.

“Then I leaned over and handed myself an envelope with the words ‘A List of Betrayals’ written on the front. I haven’t had the courage to open it yet.”

Hand. Cannot. Erase is scheduled for release on the 2nd of March via Kscope and is available now for pre-order.

The LP is slated for release on the 3rd of November via Nuclear Blast.

Max recently described the work as “very, very heavy – the heaviest of all three” and added: “I was really possessed to get Igor back to his Arise era of drumming, everything fast.”
