The Fierce And The Dead announce winter tour dates

The Fierce And The Dead 2015

The Fierce And The Dead have announced their last tour dates for 2015.

The four horsemen of the pronkpocalypse will play a handful of shows in November and December in support of their most recent EP Magnet, appearing alongside the likes of Aristocrats, Crippled Black Phoenix and Mannheim.

Speaking to Prog Magazine, TFATD guitarist Matt Stevens says: “It’s been a great year for us, and to play with some of our favourite bands is a massive deal for us. The Aristocrats don’t normally have supports, so it’s really lovely to be asked by them.”

Tickets for the dates are available now via TFATD’s website.

Matt Stevens is set to appear on the Prog Magazine Show on Team Rock Radio tomorrow, Wednesday 28th of October.

Tour dates are as follows:

Nov 13th: The End Festival, London
Nov 26th: London Dome – with Crippled Black Phoenix
Nov 27th: Nottingham JT Soars – with Mannheim
Dec 18th: London Heaven – with the Artistocrats

The Fierce And The Dead promo shot

The Fierce And The Dead have announced that they are to release a new EP.

Magnet is due out on the 14th of August and is set to feature five tracks, including three new songs, a live rehearsal recording and a new version of “Flint”, a track from their debut album. A bonus track of a live rehearsal song is due to appear on the CD version of the collection.

TFATD guitarist Matt Stevens says: “This EP represents a different sound for us. It’s important to keep moving forward. It’s more joyous and intense, with bigger riffs and more of an electronic feel.”

Adds bassist Keavin Feazy: “We’re back to sounding like the bands we grew up with. Every record we’ve put out has its own character and story, with a different reality for each.”

You can check out the new EP’s lead track, “Magnet In Your Face”, via the stream below. Pre-ordering for Magnet is available now via tfatd.bandcamp.com
