UK alt-rock band Allusondrugs have made an appeal to fans after the theft of two guitars from their tour van.

One handmade blue Stratocaster and one stock black Stratocaster were stolen from the band’s vehicle while they were in South London following a sold out show at Camden’s Black Heart venue.

“Last night in South London some low life broke into our van and stole 2 of our guitars,” Allusondrugs said in a Facebook post. “Drey’s Handmade Blue Stratocaster and Jason’s Stock Black Stratocaster were both stolen. We urge anyone in and around London to keep an eye out for our guitars.

“Please share this far and wide for us. If anyone would like to help us out further you can grab some merch from our website – every little helps. Thank you all x.”

Eva Plays Dead make appeal following theft of £3,000 worth of gear from tour van

Eva Plays Dead Dec 2015

UK rockers Eva Plays Dead have had approximately £3,000 worth of gear stolen including drums, pedal boards and amp heads.

The band posted the news via their social media accounts, explaining that their van had been broken into in the Chellaston area of Derby.

As well as making an appeal to friends and fans to contact the police if they become aware of the band’s gear being sold, Eva Plays Dead have issued a new one-off t-shirt design to help raise much needed funds.

“We are trying to work with the police but we know of far too many cases where bands have been robbed and unable to recover their gear so we are producing a run of a one-off t-shirt to help raise funds to contribute to replacements,” say the band.

“We have also included a link where you can donate extra [via] PayPal if you decide to and we still have other stock at our merch store. EPD have big bills to pay over the coming months so this could not have come at a worse time, particularly a month before our appearances at Macmillan Fest and Fortfest.”
