Twenty Two Hundred release Wembley Arena live footage

Twenty Two Hundred 2015

Aussie rockers Twenty Two Hundred have released live footage from their 2014 tour supporting guitar legend Slash.

The UK jaunt was the third time that the boys from TTH have supported Slash, having been personally invited to play supporting sets on previous tours in Singapore, Japan and Korea.

Twenty Two Hundred’s debut album Carnaval De Venus, which featured vocalist Tony Cardenas-Montana (Great White), saw them signed to Tonequake Records in the United States and playing a 5 date arena show tour of the United Kingdom, including the infamous Wembley Arena, in November and December 2014.

Nightwish announce one-off Wembley Arena show

Nightwish 2015

Nightwish have announced that they will play a one-off show at London’s SSE Wembley Arena this year.

The Finnish symphonic metal band will hit the stage on the 19th of December, making history as the first Finnish band to headline the stadium.

“Who would have thought about headlining at Wembley Arena one day when we were starting our UK touring history from the downstairs of the legendary Astoria Club in London over ten years ago. This truly is a dream come true for us!” says Tuomas Holopainen, founder member and keyboard player.

The impressive support on the night will come from Arch Enemy and Amorphis, and tickets will be going on sale this Friday at 10am!

Nightwish’s new album, Endless Forms Most Beautiful, is due for release on the 30th of March via Nuclear Blast.
