Premiere: Boy Genius stream video for brand new song ‘Dad’s Darts Final’

Chorley-based alt-rockers Boy Genius have released their first material since 2015 and are premiering it here at Skin Back Alley.

Recently expanding from a 3-piece to a 4-piece, new song “Dad’s Darts Final” showcases the band’s distinct brand of power pop alongside a love of grunge and alt rock.

“It’s a love letter to the alt rock scene of 90s America really”, explains frontman Kyle Webster. “All of it’s influences are based on music that emerged within that period, and I suppose it’s a naive attempt at creating something that’s heavy but grounded in pop sensibilities.”
